This sweet girl was abandoned at H4H while pregnant and emaciated. With lots of kindness and TLC she’s blossomed into one of most wonderful horses on the farm. Her adorable colt, Lucky 7, is nicknamed “Spice” and loves to follow his human friends around like a giant golden retriever.
Colm is the baby of the program. He is 2 years old, the son of Aisling, and an absolute love. He is also our resident comedian who thinks everything is funny and nothing is a big deal. Because he was raised from day one by our H4H team, he has a huge love for people and seems more like one of our therapy dogs than a horse. We think he is crossed with a Standardbred. He will be broke to drive this year and currently he does equine assisted learning, equine assisted therapy, grooming school and natural horsemanship clinics.
These two are half brothers, rescued at 3 days old from a trailer with just a pail of milk to keep them alive will be raised as part of the H4H herd! Now just yearlings, they are participating in all aspects of the H4H program and especially love to play!
Gally is a 15-year-old off the track Thoroughbred rescue. He is regal and quiet and loves to be scratched behind the ears. A rub on the forehead goes a long way, too. He participates in grooming school, equine assisted learning, equine assisted therapy, and natural horsemanship clinics.
Roman is an 8-year-old Warmblood / Thoroughbred cross who was rescued from his life with a neglectful owner three years ago. He is full of love and life and his gratefulness is evident in the way he nickers to his people when they come to see him. He works in the grooming school and equine assisted learning.
